Shine PR is a communications consultancy specialising in travel, tourism and hospitality.

I founded Shine after more than 25 years working in PR and communications, and today I work with hotels, restaurants, destinations and tourism businesses across Scotland and further afield.

My work ranges from ongoing PR and media relations to launches, campaigns and one-off projects. I get to know my clients and their businesses properly, finding the stories within them and working out the best way to tell them.

Alongside Shine, I’m a travel and interiors writer, contributing regularly to The Scotsman and Scottish Field. It’s a useful crossover. I know what journalists are looking for, what makes a good story and, importantly, what is actually likely to get covered.
